Equipment & Software in the Vitale Digital Media Lab
The Vitale Digital Media Lab is available to faculty, staff, and students at the University of Pennsylvania to support the integration of digital media in academic work. The lab will be available for scheduled group activities, such as special workshops or class session, and for individual walk-in users.
Students using the digital media lab will be able to
- Digitize, edit, and publish audio & video
- Convert audio/video materials between different formats
- Scan images and text documents
- Edit images and other graphics
- Create print and web documents
- Print in color or black and white
Hardware; all devices are accessible from any station in the lab:
- Apple G5 workstations (11; 10 for students 1 for teacher/lab attendant)
