The Dean's Forum on Teaching & Learning for 2004
Strategies to engage students in their own learning processes

At a forum in Van Pelt Dietrich Library, Penn faculty and instructors discussed pedagogical strategies they have developed to engage students creatively in their own learning processes. The forum reflected the collaborative efforts on campus to improve learning and teaching. In particular, it highlighted the way Penn faculty have used Arts and Sciences instructional services and the Penn Library to implement learner-centered teaching.
Throughout the day, representatives from the Center for Teaching and Learning, Communications Within the Curriculum (CWiC), Critical Writing Program, Office of Learning Resources, Penn Program for Public Service , SAS Computing, and the Van Pelt Library were available for consultation.
