wiclogoClickers - Personal Response Systems
Personal response systems are a great new way to engage students during class.

The Weigle Information Commons Class of 1968 Seminar Room includes a classroom set of 35 Turning Point clickers. Faculty can reserve the room online to bring a class in to explore clickers.

What is a clicker anyway?

The Weigle Information Commons has uses the Turning Point clicker pictured at right. The receiver plugs into a USB port. Each student picks up a clicker at the start of class. The professor asks the class a multiple choice question, often using a PowerPoint slide. Each student clicks their answer. The clicker software compiles and graphs the class response instantly. Countdown timers and correct answer mark keep lessons fast-paced.
