Data Diner Booths, Rooms and Alcoves

The Commons includes Group Study Rooms, Data Diner Booths, Alcove Meeting Areas, Seminar Room and the Vitale Digital Media Lab.

There are several types of group study rooms in the Commons. Rooms 127, 128 and 129 have room-based videorecording systems with an installed camera and microphone at ceiling level. A custom control panel allows easy recording of all activity in the room directly to DVD.

Each Data Diner Booth has a laptop and a desktop with a display screen on a stretchable arm. Patrons often bring personal laptops and each Booth has a wired internet port, power and a display cable for connecting a personal laptop to the display screen.

Each Alcove can seat up to fifteen persons and has a whiteboard, a large display screen and a desktop PC. Patrons can connect personal laptops to the display screen through a cable.
