Equipment Lending Program
Location: Vitale Digital Media Lab, Weigle Information Commons, Van Pelt-Dietrich Library Center
Eligibility: Current Penn students, faculty and staff with PennKey and active PennCard.
Borrowing Period: up to 3 days at a time.
Overdue fines: $25 per day (or any part of a day) late.
Equipment may be used for academic or personal purposes.

How to Reserve Equipment
Our equipment loan guidelines provide additional information. The video and text instructions below show how to reserve equipment online:
- Login with your PennKey at http://checkout.sas.upenn.edu
- If you see a choice of locations, choose "Weigle Information Commons"
- Enter the dates and times you wish to request equipment - up to a maximum of 72 hours (3 days).
- Click "Find Resources" to browse through equipment available for the dates selected.
- Click the "Add" button next to an available item to request it.
- Click "Current Reservation" to review what you have reserved.
- Any problems with your reservation will be shown in a red box on lower left. Problems will need to be corrected before a request can be confirmed.
- Click "Confirm".
- Pick up your equipment on time in the Vitale Digital Media Lab on the date and time requested. Our system cancels reservations for any equipment that is not picked up within 3 hours of the time specified.
- Read and sign an equipment loan agreement form when you pick up equipment.
- Return your equipment on time. Our late fine policy is $25/day late fee starting 1 minute after the scheduled return time.

Available items include video cameras, still cameras, audio recorders, keyboards, microphones, clickers, drawing tablets and other gadgets.
