- using free Windows Movie Maker software in our Data Diner Booths and Group Study Rooms
- using iMovie in our Media Lab and Seminar Room
- using Final Cut Pro in our Media Lab.
The best location for videoconferences is the WIC Seminar Room since the room-based system provides high-quality video and audio. Groups of up to 20 can participate.
Skype works very well with small groups ( up to 6 people) on the iMac computers in Group Study Rooms.

- using the built-in microphones on the laptops in our Data Diner and Group Study Rooms.
- using the ceiling-mounted microphone in our video recording rooms.
- using microphones and audio recorders from the equipment lending program
- using the Glossberg Recording Room on the fourth floor
You can record music:
- using the MIDI keyboard in the Lab.
- using the keyboard in the Glossberg Recording Room
You can edit audio:
- using Audacity on all PCs and Macs in the Commons
- using GarageBand in the Lab
