Video #4: Dreamworld
The goal of this Mash Up is to reveal the hopes for a dream world where there would be no fear of the impacts of climate

library. |
||
Video #7: Miss Disney 2011
The video is a beauty contest where Walt Disney chooses a new wife from among his princesses. I am trying to show what
kind of answers Walt Disney would give if he was conversing with the princesses, using some humor. |
||
Video #8: Mystery of Disney 2011
This mashup is a spoof of the Mystery of Science Theater 3000 clips. It is a video playing with the concept of what Walt Disney would say if he saw Tim Burton's rendition of Alice in

Video #12: The Controversy That Is Song of the South
Song of the South is one of Walt Disney's most controversial films. Because it is no longer available for public viewing, many

the film. Yet, comments about the film are galore. In my video, I attempt to juxtapose these comments against Disney's comments
about the film. |

Made for ANTH 231: Anthropology in the Cinema. I was aiming for a conversation in which Glenn Beck tries to convince Walt
Disney to create something that would teach children in the next generation to be a good American. I showed however that Walt Disney was much more interested generally in creating movies like So Dear to My Heart
than the propaganda he
created for the government in WWII like Der Fuehrer's Face. |

Video #18: WTF, Penn? the compass teach-in.
The purpose of this video was to rouse excitement for the "The Compass Teach-in, a public demonstration of student
activists on several morally-ambiguous activities of Penn. The main issues focused on were our expansion into West Philadelphia, the treatment of Penn
workers, and our defense research.
|
||
Video #19: Retake on Alice in Wonderland.
I refilmed my favourite scene from Alice in Wonderland, the Mad Hatter Tea Party scene. I took the famous riddle, 'Why is the raven like a writing desk?' and changed the last two words that start with Walt Disney's initials to Walt Disney, and re-wrote the script by focusing on the concept of time!
